The children from the Club of Young Naturalists of the Feldman Ecopark visited the National Nature Park \u201cGomilshansky lissy.\u201d Within the framework of the educational practice, young biologists helped the workers of the park to keep spring records of corvids. The groups of children walked their routes to determine such forest inhabitants as crows, jackdaws, rooks, and magpies, according to the nature of their flight, the colour of feathering and the voices. Once the children saw a bird, they recorded everything carefully in order to give their data to the worekrs of the national park.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis kind of practice is very important for young scientists: here, they can watch the behaviour of certain species of animals in the wilderness, learn to determine tree species, bushes and graminaceous plants,\u201d the scientific supervisor of young naturalists Anton Plotnikov told. \u201cIt is possible to understand quickly how the elements of the ecosystem are connected with each other only in such educational walking tours. We make this tours constantly \u2013 the children have trips to Gomilshansky lissy once a season. In addition, every weekend we carry out various observations of animals and plant life in the Feldman Ecopark.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to the words of the supervisors of young naturalists, perhaps, some of data obtained during the field practice will be included into the research projects for the competition of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
