Members of Ski and Biathlon Club Feldman Ecopark took the first team place and became prizewinners in individual superiority at last Saturday\u2019s Summer Biathlon Championship of the Kharkiv region among juniors.<\/p>\n
\u201cTen teams from all corners of Kharkiv region participated in the championship. We managed to outrun all competitors in team competition. Yurii Karpenko won gold medal among boys in the age group of 2007-2008, and Oleksii Shyp took the silver. Arsenii Casymyr took bronze in the age group of 2008 and younger, – their mentor, the head of Feldman Ecopark Ski and Biathlon Club Svitlana Ilyinskikh told. – All children did good job, showed proper training and skill. The level of our team grows every year. It can already be considered a favorite at the regional level and steadily performs at national competitions.\u201d<\/p>\n
It should be noted that members of Ski and Biathlon Club Feldman Ecopark took part in National Summer Biathlon Competitions, which took place in Kyiv at the beginning of October. They competed as members of Kharkiv national team with peers from other regions and showed good results \u2013 the 2nd place among older boys and the 3rd place among younger girls.<\/p>\n
Besides, it should be reminded that the Feldman Ecopark Ski and Biathlon Club was opened in 2016. Members of the Club repeatedly became prizewinners and winners of Kharkiv, regional and national superiorities. About 50 children aged from 7 up to 14 years train in the Club free of charge all year round. It is one of the most popular sports direction within the 1,000 Teams Tournament project. The Club\u2019s activity includes an inclusive programme for children with special needs. Lessons take place 3 times a week in the territory of the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex Feldman Ecopark.
