A great and diverse programme is already prepared in Feldman Ecopark for this weekend, when Ukraine celebrates its main holiday \u2013 Independence Day. On Saturday, in additional to the state holiday, the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex is going to celebrate Bat Night and Orangutan\u2019s birthday, while this Sunday will be devoted to the world of theatre within the framework of the Kazka Fest project, which is hosted by the International Charitable Foundation \u201cOleksandr Feldman Foundation\u201d with the support of Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.<\/p>\n
The quiz for children about bats will start at 2.30 p.m. near the Bat-Collider. While the lectures about bats will take place at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., followed by the demonstration and \u2018release\u2019 of bats in the enclosure. The lecture about echolocation will start at 6 p.m. with the demonstration of records and listening to the sounds of bats. Moreover, on August 24-25, the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex will have a photo exhibition devoted to bats. In addition, everyone will be able to wish many happy returns of the day to Vasia the orangutan. The holiday will start at 10.30 a.m. near the enclosure with primates.<\/p>\n
The Theatre of Children and Animals has already prepared a special festive concert programme We are Your Future, Ukraine! devoted to Ukraine\u2019s Independence Day. It will be possible to watch it on Saturday and Sunday starting at 11.30 a.m. While a traditional Forest School will be presented to visitors at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n
Top events of Sunday, August 25, will be the theatrical performances by Kharkiv puppet shows based on famous fairy tales, as well as theatrical art master classes for children and adults within the framework of Kazka Fest.<\/p>\n

Moreover, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the visitors to Ecopark will be able to create handmade puppets at master classes, to attend a puppet exhibition and to try to manipulate puppets, create own fairy tale and play it in roles at a Fairy Tale Tent from the Theatre Magic School, while the acquaintance with the puppet theatre for the smallest ones is also planned.<\/p>\n
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a family game programme KAZKAFEST-SHOW with interesting prizes will start at the main location hourly, while a festive horse show will start at the Horse Complex at 2 p.m.<\/p>\n
On Monday, August 26, sand animation master classes (starting at 11 a.m., 11.30 a.m., 12 p.m., 12.30 p.m., 1 p.m. and 1.30 p.m.) and animation show (starting at 2 p.m.) are planned within the framework of Kazka Fest, while the programme KAZKAFEST-SHOW will be also waiting for its heroes.<\/p>\n
It should be reminded that a national cultural project Kazka Fest takes place in Feldman Ecopark in August with the support of Ukrainian Cultural Foundation within the framework of its programme \u201cProminent Events for Ukrainian Culture.\u201d Every weekend of the last summer month, literature readings, book fair, theatrical performances, concerts, fairy-tale therapy sessions, art quests and master classes, as well as other events take place in the Social and Humanitarian Multi-Complex.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
