For the children who attended the Horse complex Feldman Ecopark a sports hike in the Kharkiv region was organized. The group which set off for hiking in vicinities of the Pecheneg Reservoir included the children who attend the Center of non-Olympic types of equestrian sport and also pupils of tourist multisport competition class.
As organizers of a hike told, it was not just a nature walk with tourist equipment and tents, but it was a productive sports training. Young athletes learned to navigate with a map, to calculate the speed and distance. These skills, in particular, will help them in horse orientation classes. Besides, children learned to live in field conditions, to search water sources, to build fire and obtained useful knowledge of life outdoors. The hike took place in a beauty spot with fine landscapes and clean lakes, and participants received positive emotions.
“In Feldman Eсopark all conditions for active recreation of children are created so that they are able to learn to feel the nature more deeply, adjusted mutual understanding with animals, – the head of humanitarian programs of Ecopark Irina Yavorskaya noted. – And such hikes are necessary in order that our pupils learned the nature in all its variety and felt they are part of it”.
