Journalists from Spain, China, the Czech Republic and Turkey visited Feldman Ecopark

The delegation of foreign journalists visited Feldman Ecopark. The visit was arranged within the framework of the joint project of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and Kyiv Press Club. Feldman Ecopark is in the list of Top 10 sites in Ukraine selected for the promotion of Ukraine’s attractions in foreign mass media with the purpose of formation of an attractive image of Ukraine as a tourist country and the increase of the number of foreign tourists.

The chief specialist of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Ihor Ishutko informed that 12 journalists from Belarus, Turkey, China, Spain and the Czech Republic took part in the press tour. The tour programme includes five regions of Ukraine, including Kharkiv oblast.

“By developing tourism in Ukraine, we demonstrate the major sights of our country for the journalists to tell on their media resources about them. We’ve taken the information about the sights from different sources, including social networks, which are literally filled with positive feedback on Feldman Ecopark. The real acquaintance with it impressed the participants of our press tour very much, as it is evident that they take care of the territory and the animals with love and are always trying to create the most comfortable conditions for the visitors. It was the first press tour, but soon, we are going to hold the second one for the journalists from Germany and the USA, and we will definitely recommend them to visit Feldman Ecopark,” Ihor Ishutko emphasized.

Turkish journalist and blogger Yunus Erdoğdu, who writes about Ukraine, asserts that Feldman Ecopark is one of the best zoos among different countries due to both the conditions for the animals and the opportunities for the visitors to communicate with them. According to his words, the main thing that makes Ecopark pleasantly different from other zoos is a cozy family atmosphere and maximum accessibility for everyone.

“I visited many zoos all over the world – Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, the USA and European countries – I liked this park for the fact that it is also a petting zoo and it allows visitors to stay very close to the animals, while the animals look well-groomed and satisfied. I have four daughters and I would like to take them here for a walk. When I visit Kharkiv the next time, I will definitely come to Ecopark. It is also important that your city has a direct flight from Turkey and I think that my fellow citizens should definitely attend Feldman Ecopark. Many Turks live in Kharkiv, and in case they haven’t had an opportunity to attend Ecopark, I will recommend them in my blog to spend time here,” Yunus Erdoğdu shared his experience.

The journalists were able not only to look at the unique animal collection of Feldman Ecopark, but were also introduced to the activities of the Centre for Wild, Exotic and Domestic Animals Rescue “Feldman Ecopark Good Home,” and visited the Hours Club and other locations.
