This Saturday, October 7, the traditional 6th Chrysanthemum Ball starts in Feldman Ecopark. The florists planted more than 35 thousand natural flowers – chrysanthemums of various cultivar, forms and coloring on beds of the Regional Landscape Park.
According to the organizers, the amount of flowers presented in the current ball will surpass a record of the last year in several thousands. White and yellow, red and pink, lilac and orange and also bicoloured chrysanthemums of various sizes and forms are grown up by the Ukrainian and Western European experts especially for the Feldman Ecopark’s ball.
As ever, the flower sculptures will become a holiday highlight. The florists creating them keep an intrigue and so far keep exactly what flower sculptures will be presented a secret. However, they promise that they will not only repeat the best of the previous compositions (for example, in 2016 these were huge sculptures in the shape of monkeys, hares, bears, pigs, deer, turtles and ladybirds), but also will please flower lovers with something new and unexpected.
In the opening days of the Chrysanthemum Ball, on October 7 and 8, the eventful thematic entertainment programme with performances of musicians, actors and a large number of cheerful competitions, and, above all — a variety of unique flower photo zones for the best selfies waits for the Ecopark’s guests. On October 7, demonstrative performances of the Club of Young Cynologists Feldman Ecopark and a premiere of the new eco-fairy tale from the Theatre of Children and Animals will add the Saturday programme. On Sunday, October 8, the ball will begin at noon with a concert of symphonic orchestra of the Kharkiv Philharmonic Hall and will continue before nightfall. The guests will be able to see the gala performance of the Theatre of Children and Animals, the horse flower show and performances of the circus studio “Neposedy”. The events confined to an ancient Judaic Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkoth) will diversify the coloring of the ball.
The events are held under the patronage of the International Charitable Foundation “Oleksandr Feldman Foundation”.
To attention of media: the journalists will be able to receive particulars of preparation and opening of the Chrysanthemum Ball firsthand during a press tour which will take place on October 6.
